Alert alert alert: U.S. journalist Roxana Saberi, who has been imprisoned in Iran for months, has just been charged and convicted of espionage & sentenced to 8 years in prison.
The charges are baseless and the State Dept is calling for her immediate release.
At this point, it is not clear what can and will be done to free her.

Iran scares the crap out of me. There's chatter amongst the military that once Iraq is done, Iran is next. O God I hope not.
