Inordinate amount of joy

Have I mentioned that the first Carly is back, as a different character? And that I'm really happy about it?

This is what I wrote on "Claudia"'s wall on Facebook (Yeah, the character has a Facebook account. Clever clever!):

I AM SOOOOO EXCITED! We should party like it's nineteen ninety six - I'll bring the plaid shirts. (Just kidding.) Anyway YAY YAY YAY!!! WELCOME BACK!!!!! I LOVE GENERAL HOSPITAL!!!!!!!!!! That's an obnoxious amount of exclamation points. Sorry. Just happy.:)

And I HATE exclamation points. But I loved this actress. I hope Claudia Z's a bitch, because no one does bitch like Sarah Brown - not saying she's a bitch. She seems pretty fun, actually, for her websites and stuff. But she does such a good job at playing a fiery, feisty bitch. It's REALLY fun to watch. She plays the kind of character you love to hate soooo well.

Seriously, I need to get a life.

My 110% favorite Carly of all time from General Hospital is BACK!!! But, weirdly enough, she's playing a different character! How funny is that? Love it. Love it. Love it.

I'm soooooo excited for the return of actress Sara Joy Brown, who will be playing the role of a new character, Claudia Zacchara, a daughter of a mad mob boss.

Poopy climaxes

Dude, wassup avec les avons these days? It's midsummer so they're making it worth all the teachers' whiles to have followed along since the end of the school year. And the students who watch. Anyway, so now this week is the big pay off for following along and every one of them has been RIDICULOUSLY staged. I mean, it's the CLIMAX OF THE SEASON. I know it's usually a one take thing because of the shoestring daily budget and all but still, can't we bring in a better cinematographer and editor for the crucial scenes?

I didn't see the Greenlee kidnapping car crash happen, just its aftermath. But the Jason being shot by the snipers and the neo-nazi baseball player serial terrorizor falling off the roof (with two black people, one Latina woman and a female Muslim cop, no less) have been PUKE.

Fun plotlines though! Today Erica Kane was awesome when she freaked on Greenley. "Every breath those boys take is a miracle and it's all your fault!!!!" Powerful.

You know, talking about that neo-nazi storyline has made me realize that Llandview is very diverse. There's Carlotta's family, Adrianna and Dorian to cover the Latino/a piece of the diversity pie;Evangeline and her sister, and RJ and his granddaughter for the AfroAmer; Nora is Jewish; and What's Her Name is Muslim.

Anyway, I had to work at ON tonight, so I missed the GH rerun (seriously, we need some Tivo) and, despite the cheesy cinematography, I still want to know what happened after the gunmen attacked Jason in front of the courthouse.

I shall suffer through my sleepyness to fulfill this GH need. That's how dedicated I am.

I really want to write for a soap opera when I grow up. That would be awesome.

Still Here

So, I changed my mind and decided to loaf until after GH. This is because I haven't loafed in ages and I like it and I can get away with it. Traffic will be horrendous, but it always is for me these days.

Anyway, what I did was rearrange the tags at the end of every entry, which is something I've been meaning to do for age now. And now, I shall finally finish packing and clean my car and be motivated. The third cup of coffee seemed to be the charm today.

GH- I'm sorry I missed the story line about the kidnapping of Jason's baby. that sort of bummed me out. We really oughta get DVR.

I still think that Logan guy is super cute, even if he is five years younger than me in real life.

When will Connie AKA Kate Hoard and Sonny end up together like the so obviously and inevitably will?
