Dia de los Muertos - Day of the Dead

It's the custom in Mexican culture to talk to the dead today on what is called "Dia de los Muertos" or "The Day of the Dead". This also coincides with All Souls Day or All Saints Day in the Catholic faith.

They also eat sugar skulls (see photo) and chocolate.

So, Happy Talking to Dead People Day! Who are you going to chat with?

I think I'll have a little convo with my dad, my nana, my aunties, my papa, my godfather and Jenny's mom, and I'll eat the leftover Halloween candy while I do it. That's how I'll honor this holiday. (Any excuse to eat candy is a good excuse for me.)
